Room 4 Class Party

We had a lovely party day, where we played pass the parcel, treasure hunt and with an exciting shared lunch. Thank you for your donations, the children had a feast. They thoroughly enjoyed our day- well earned Room 4, with getting 229 marbles in the jar. 

We are working hard to fill the next one, keep it up! 

Football!

As a school wide programme we are very lucky to have expert football teachers in to show the children to trapping and striking the ball accurately. This is our very first session. Children are eager to get involved. Great effort Room 4. 

Term 2, Day 1

The excitement of returning to school. We shared our news and experiences with our peers. I loved hearing about family trips, hunting, trips to Auckland or Kuratau. 

Welcome back children! We are very excited to start our new topic on "To infinity and beyond..." Let us all blast of together! 

Easter Craft Fun!

Our whole class community project

As a class we brainstormed ideas how we together could help our community. We discussed many ideas, we wanted to be secretive and help others with out them knowing, just like the bees, being humble. 

We decided to donate a can each to the Salvation Army, where it would go to families who need a little extra each week.

Thank you children, and families of room 4 for your help.  

We are getting ready for dance festival!

Dance festival is coming up, week 3 in term 2. We are working hard in learning new steps and movements. We are working together in small groups to present a dance that is 2 and 1/2 minutes long, with a variety of movements, all their own ideas. 

We presented our dances to Room 5, our first audience. The children were a little bit nervous but they performed with huge enthusiasm. Well Done Room 4!
